I think he'd be a good signing but it won't happen unless Atleti's debt is worse than imagined. They only recently bought him and are still in the Liga + Champions League hunt. They apparently could be getting Torres back if he takes a pay cut, but no way would you replace a clinical striker like Mandzukic with goal shy Torres, he'd be an extra option. Mandzukic has been one of the most clinical strikers for a few years now and has unbelievable workrate when looking at him you'd think he is a lazy striker (he was tracking back like crazy for Atleti the other day).
 
A good player and is more physical than Dzeko but he will struggle in our current set up. A typical Daily Star random link.

Not this one like the rest of us they haven't got a clue what was the meeting with Atleti was about.
