Daniel Taylor once did club sanctioned interview with Mangala and he insisted it was £42m. The club surely would have corrected him if the £42m was incorrect

About 60% of reports say it’s 42 with the other 40% saying 32 so we will never know.
He’s worth pretty much nothing now either way. I’d be astonished if he left for anything in January.
The two biggest myths with Manga are...
1. He’s fast; over the first 5 yards when it matters he is actually slow. Coupled with his poor positioning this means most attackers with a brain leave him for dead.
2. He would be great at a non Pep side; He’s just as bad at other teams he’s been at. Pep is a very good teacher and even he has been unable to improve him.

I’m not sure about that. The reports that say its 42 also say payments were made to multiple groups over different time periods and that the total was near 42 so I’m not sure that would be easy to spot from one set of accounts not that I’ve seen them. Certainly City didn’t deny it not that that proves much either.
I think only City know for sure but I’m no accountant.
