I thought he played more then a minor part. Played in most of the league cup games & played some important roles in the league specifically when he came on at Old Trafford he won everything in the air, made a goal line clearance & matched Martial for pace when he broke free. That was a very very important game.

Agree his defending at OT was tremendous.

I read an interview he did very soon after he joined. He described how his younger brother had been tragically brain injured and how he would look after him. Came across as a completely genuine good human being. Have felt sad at how his career has developed with us - he clearly isn't a Pep player but he has always been 100% professional. I wish him all the best wherever he ends up.

Yes, his contract is up in the summer. Tbh, I wouldn't be surprised if the club let him go for free in January. He won't be playing for the first team this season and no one's going to give us anything for him, could see the club letting him go for free in January as a gesture of good will.
