I don't know about Oome mate. I know lots of Ancoats ended up in Wythenshawe and Langley. Lots of my mums family ended up split between the 2, after all originating in Ancoats. My nana did not like Langley and moved back to Ancoats.

My family were from Ancoats and Miles Platting ( or is that Anneh and the Plat nowadays lol? ) and I think all of them and their neighbours were moved to Langley
