He is nothing like Otamendi. By all accounts he is better in the build up. And the main difference is that Akanji is lightning quick. While Otamendi was.....well you know.

For 15 million that's a steal, I'm sure this guy will do well for us. Stones looks very soft at the moment. And Laporte, who knows how long he'll be injured. So this guy could easily be a starter next to Dias.
