Manuel Akanji | Rumours of an Inter loan deal

It took to the last few hrs after 3 months to get a loan move organised. What have the management been doing all summer

Ive never really rated akanji. He was ok, amazing value for money, had his short comings tho.

But …. I would rather play him at rb than the 2 clowns currently stinking the position out

Completely agree. Loaning him out for fuck all of a fee given he probably won't be on huge wages without adding a RB (at the time of typing) seems daft, bearing in mind as well none of Stones, Ake and Dias will give us a full season with their inevitable injuries.

I know Pep likes to operate with a small squad but injuries will happen more and more with this ridiculous schedule at club and international level.

Pushing them out the door, what more can they do.
Far too many players started putting their feet up. Few more need to go.

Legends or not.

Seen it with Kev, now Ederson. It is what it is. Players like Akanji were useful but we need players who have fire in their belly. The later didn’t want to play in the states.

Players too big for their boots, you ain’t to big to be booted out the door.

I have underestimated the rebuild.

The core is still good. We will be ok once it settles down.

Stones or Ake should have sold first , both of them are injured most of the time .

Think we'll miss him personally. Largely reliable and available and can slot in anywhere across the backline. When and not if Stones and Ake pick up injuries, we'll be looking mightily thin at the back again.

Crazy isn't it. Same mistake as last year. When the fuxture list intensifies abd the injuries inevitably kick we will regret letting Manuel go.

Both qualify as Association Trained, so there is no requirement for us to move either.

Akanji is on our non-homegrown list, which was over quota - and which we needed to lose players from.

This is why he’s leaving.

Same with Gundo.

This is like a charity loan, the only benefit we get here is just covering up the squad's mismanagement.
