Manuel Neuer

Never going to happen. We have two very good goalkeepers. People keep saying Pantillimon has a mistake in him; well, he's plays quite a few games now and the only mistake I can re meme is in the Community Shield. Hart hasn't come back in as Costel has done very well.

Why blow £40m on a keeper when we could buy a top class defender and midfielder for that? (Zouma and Pogba for instance)

Is a mistake only a mistake when it is punished?

For me he has made a mistake about 3/4 times since he took over from Joe that could have easily resulted in a goal but as yet have not been punished.

Of course not, but we have looked more solid since the change.

No chance.

Neuer would never leave Bayern and Bayern wouldn't sell Neuer.

Mate, why would he never leave Bayern? He left Gelsenkirchen, which is where was born and raised. He joined Schalke at the age of 5 and went all through their youth system. You know how it is nowadays, if the money's right, he'll leave.

It is different - and it is not about money even if money is part of it. But he could have had a better contract in Schalke than in Munich two years ago. Schalke's sponsor is Gazprom and Putin wanted Neuer to stay - Gazprom as the sponsor would have packed more money on it if he would have stayed.

He had a couple of reasons to go to Munich. Possible titles and success, his girlfriend and her family lives in Munich, he had good friends in the team.

Money is always only one aspect and only then when there is big differences. He does not have bigger chances for success elsewhere, his girlfriend has her own business, he seems to like it where he is and Bayern pays good.
