Manuel Pellegrini (cont)

1st week in feb and nothing to play for domestically (well... other than staying in the top 4), no tactics, playing players out of position and utterly idiotic on substitutions.

Never took to him myself. We had by far the best team and squad last season and still only just won the league. We won it despite him, not because of him.

Let's hope Guardiola fancies a change in the summer because Pellegrini is not good enough. Simple as that

You can't defend Pellegrini with today's result and our form but the same could of been said about Roberto Mancini.

Needs to turn things around sharpish. Burnley (2nd half), Arsenal, Middlesbrough, Hull - not sure of the last time we saw so many woeful performances at home in such a short period. Wednesday was pretty dire, too, as was the first half against Sunderland. And each time against fairly average opponents (including Arsenal, who are notoriously shite in away games against the top sides).

I've some degree of sympathy today in that the attitude of the players in the first half was pathetic. But ultimately the buck stops with him to motivate the players.

I've supported him since he arrived, but if we continue in this vein much longer, I can't see him being in charge come August.

It looks to me like we have no game plan. He should be giving instruction to get at these teams from the kick off but we start slow with shit sideways passing. What does he do all week. We do the same no matter who we play. That is poor.

Also, we have no shape. I think he just picks the players and that's it. No game plan, no shape. Do your best boys.

Offer Simeone whatever he wants

this the only problem is players might get a tadge upset at being shouted at
i feel there is going to be clearout in the summer, regardless of what happens. This squad has reached the end of its cycle.

i don't think there will we can't afford a huge claret FFP has made sure of that

I think we need a top top midfield player and another centre half but i think most of the problems lie with the manager his tactics and the way he plays the game, its so slow we are lethargic we are trying to pass the ball through packed defences.

we could spend a billion in the summer but with this useless twat whom want to play football in the right way i.e. open and attacking then from what i ve seen this season it not the fucking right way

want the fucker gone and we are now in a fight for top 4 every other cup / competition we are out of or will be out off. Seriously Barca will fucking kill us if the this useless twat continues with this style.

Mourinho would have fucked half of these players off by now with their lack of effort, work rate and desire to win football games. The two F's in midfield don't work Milner should be there he would give us work rate and energy, we need to play faster and Navas needs to have a go at beating another player

Al in all just fuck ogg Pellers

It could but Mancini had to at least overcome a 40 year hurdle and had Ferguson, rather than Brent, to deal with.

The squad needs some more quality added to it now but over the years I wouldn't argue with those who say that our players haven't had the quality of manager they deserve.
