Another tactical wonder class from our manager. Takes Milner and Jovetic off replaces them with Dzeko and Nasri, and with one stroke we went from a team that had the rags stuck in their own half and couldn't get out to one being dominated by 10 men. Well done Manuel it was a masterclass of the highest order give yourself a pat on the back, whilst the rest of us reach for the Valium.
What a prick, I'm sure that you weren't saying this when he lift the title.

I agree with Mr Ed.....a win is a win and happy we got one over on the rags but Dzeko shouldn't even be on the pitch....did nothing when he came on and hasn't done anything for most of the season, as Mr Ed mentioned above we were a weaker team when Nasir and Dzeko came on.....end of! (wish people would stop talking about "last" season....that's old news....we play in the now ! teams not going to give us the prem just because of what we did "last" season......Great win!!!

Why should I, obviously you have never played the game or understand tactics. We went from a position of strength and coasting the game to hanging on because of our managers substitutions and more importantly change of tactics.
You have to credit Man Utd more though. They threw it at us. Had to risk everything even with 10 men, they aren't just going to sit back the whole game.

Their main threat was on our left, which was left wide open once Milner had received the hook. Fair enough make a substitution but at least make it like for like. But as others have noted we changed back to 4-4-2 and the last 20 minutes today was like West Ham and Newcastle. I can't believe others can't see this. I'm thrilled we won but we got lucky today imo.

I can understand the dzeko for aguero sub they had carrick and the young lad at the back so he should have possessed an aerial threat to those two. also he could defend set pieces better than aguero, the subbing of milner though was just plain stupid

Jovetic for Dinho should have been the change

Not really, we bossed utd and we gifted them the midfield with the idiotic subs to walk all over us.

I was just amazed that Navas played the full 90. So wasteful today.

Exactly, I don't like Navas, but he's done well today. However, why not take Navas off instead of Milner who has been fantastic on the pitch today?

The old "we got lucky" chestnut.

If all us Blues sang through the last 20 minutes rather than replicating a morgue until extra time, we would have seen the game out with ease!

He got lucky today, nearly mucked it

He did. Messed it up by changing to 442 then realised what a mistake it was and subbed Ferna for augero to get the midfield back. He doesn't learn- too fixated on this 442 and playing Navas for 90'.
