I watched him play 70 minutes at Goodison and he looked perfectly fine. If he was injured, then my judgment on Pellegrini is misinformed, but I don't think he was which is why I'm hesitant to label Pellegrini the next messiah.

Think Garcia will always be a player that divides opinion amongst fans, he has improved definitely over the last few games but I still think his lack of pace will find him out by the very top teams and I think Bergeristan has realised that hence the incoming fernando

I agree with that. But he's been the only credible option whilst fernandinho has been injured. And he's done bloody well too, as results have shown. He does give us a great solidity but fernandinho is a miles better player.

If Garcia had got a second yellow against Everton (as he maybe should have), or if Hart's fingertips hadn't have stopped Naismith's shot when Barkley glided past Garcia, or if the ref had given a penalty when Garcia tugged Deulofeu's shirt, we wouldn't have won the league and the media would be all over Pellegrini, rightly asking why the best squad in England hasn't won the league. Garcia is shit and can't run, and the fact that Pellegrini can't see that gives away the fact that he isn't ever going to be a great manager and will end up going the same way as Mancini.

I don't wanna piss on anyone chips since we've just won the league but why not try and keep our feet on the ground and celebrate the success of the club rather than turning individuals into Mancini-like idols only for the forum to be heartbroken a year down the line when he gets found out. Fair enough if we'd won the league by 15 points, but he was a lucky decision away from underachieving.

Also your point about Hart's save is a fucking wank one too - that is what he is paid to do, and frankly Manual did a brilliant job managing Joe Hart this season, which Joe has admitted himself.

No-one but Fernandinho is gonna know how much of an injury he had, but he looked absolutely fine against Everton and I still think the decision to leave him out wasn't based on his injury (but I guess we won't know that till next season). Aguero and Silva played through injury so I can't see why Fernandinho could not when he looked just as fit, if not fitter than them two.
