Bahaha,he got the chelsea fans riled up after that comment.Go pellers..Some body needs to give it back to maureen who is a specialist in trolling.Would love to see maureens take on this.

Maureen looked pissed off, which is funny. He then stated unbelievably, I never talk about other clubs or other clubs players. What's that all about?

Always think it best for our Manager not to get involved with any calling of the opposition or questioning Refs.

Let the teams' football do the talking and beat Mourinho et al on the pitch by winning the Title again, and winning trophies in general.

Winning games always reduces the scope for the opposition to have a go.

Would like to think its just a one off what he said, even though it was funny & probably spot on
After all we didnt do to bad last year with him keeping silent and giving the press fuckall

Agreed.

wrong to make those comments, needs to keep his frustration in check, not only does it damage his calm, steely image, but it also encourages teams to sit even deeper knowing we don't have a backup plan, and that it annoys us and we don't like it.

Needs to keep it calm, and try to evolve our attacking play on the training pitch to try and get our potency up with teams having a clear tactic to frustrate us.

Would probably have been wiser not to have said anything. That said, I expect his frustration had more to do with refereeing decisions going against us again, and that is all too understandable (as is the fact that he didn't want to have another open pop at a shite referee).

In any case, he deserves huge credit for yesterday. Got his team selection spot on, dead right to go with two forwards, and we battered them throughout. His game management once we went down to 10 men was excellent as well - precisely the right changes (which few - and I include myself - would have necessarily agreed with at the time) at the right times.

I agree with nearly all that. I think his small team comments were born more out of the frustration at Zaba's red card and how it effected the match rather than anything else. In that circumstance I don't mind him having a pop because the FA can't charge him with anything for saying something like that whereas if he'd called the ref incompetent and card happy he'd probably get a touchline ban and fine.

Those that are saying he shouldn't have said anything I think are being harsh. The fact is Pellegrini doesn't speak out every other week like certain other managers. However he is entitled to be human and occasionally crack - and honestly after the 8 days we've had I think he was remarkably restrained.

Yeah, good post.

Despite only getting two points this week, I think the way he has rotated and put out three side to win has been excellent.

The sub I thought was bizarre yesterday was the introduction of Lampard. And look how that turned out...
