Maradona at COMS

When and if D. Maradonna comes to the Etihad Stadium, he should be welcomed with open arms. So he handled the ball into the goal. Do you fans really think that he was the first, most probally not, or will he be the last.

By booing Sergio Aguero's father-in-law, you may however unwittingly drive Sergio away from the Etihad Stadium. He may decide that if this is how you treat 1 of my family why should I bother staying here, and the next transfer window will look for a transfer out of the club.

So please don't boo D. Maradonna you don't have to cheer him either just please keep quite and do nothing

Aguero’s at the right club - Maradona

Dubai - Argentina great Diego Maradona reckons son-in-law Sergio Aguero is playing for the perfect club after his compatriot's stunning start at English Premier League outfit Manchester City.

Aguero, 23, scored a hat-trick in the 3-0 defeat of Wigan Athletic on Saturday to take his tally to six goals in four games, having joined City from Atletico Madrid in July for an estimated 45 million euros ($61.7 million).

“I said Aguero needed a team that would support him, so that Aguero can play in the Champions League, can play in very important championships,” Maradona told a news conference in Dubai on Sunday ahead of his first competitive game in charge of the city's Al Wasl F.C.

“It was not the case with Atletico Madrid. People from Atletico Madrid said I was a fool. I told them that foolish person wasn't me, because Aguero is now playing for a team - Manchester City - that will fight for everything. Now Aguero is playing in a place that he deserves.”

City have won all four league games this season and are second only to local rivals Manchester United on goal difference.

Wednesday is the ideal game for him to attend. His son in law is on a roll with his new club and playing in their first champions league game against the team he was idolised at in Italy.

For those saying he's a cheating twat, grow up. If Lineker had popped the ball in with his hand in the same game would there have there been a clamour to get the goal chalked off due to the ungentlemanly conduct?

Thought not!

He did what he did at the heat of the moment with World cup dreams in his head, every player thats conned the ref by diving to get a penalty is just as much a cheat..we should move on from sommat that happened 25 years ago.

Maradona is a legend and his football was some of the best ever.

IMO Maradona is the greatest footballer ever. I'll give him a big clap.
