I think sometimes the rag media need taking down to earth again. They are not the game they are the parasites of the game who use their position to spout shit about whoever is the flavour of the month.

I'm not talking about the genuine sports reporters but the one's with their own agenda who love nothing more than getting managers the sack and over sensationalising everything.

I can't stand the twat and yes he is a cheat etc etc but I reckon he had just cause here. As did Joe Kinnear over here. I never thought I would be able to say that Joe was more eloquent than another manager though.

50 years from now they will still be talking about Maradonna. Love him or hate him, he was one of the best ever in football. I loved what he said to the press because like we all see over here in the PL, the press get too much of a free rein to bash us whenever and however they can. I praise Maradonna for having the balls to insult them in that way because it will highlight the 'cause and effect' for the incident.

Those calling him 'classless' are entitled to their opinion, but for me today he is my hero and if you don't like that...

quite simply the best player i've ever seen. makes me laugh when people wax lyrical about people like beckham etc. this guy was on a different planet even to greats like cruyff, zidane, ronaldinho, messi and van basten even never mind the majority of average players that pass for 'world class' these days.
