I don't think Pep will be 'angry' at Joe that he can't pass. It's not Joe's fault - he's just a different type of keeper. But do you honestly think Pep won't replace Joe forever as long as Joe tries hard? Please.
No, I just don't think he'll replace a keeper that is in amongst the best in the world, because of the opinion of people on here who have deemed he can't kick a ball.
Everyone's an opinion, mine is he's more than capable, too many on here trying to pass opioions that he isn't as fact.

Nobody knows yet. We haven't seen him try.

If he can do it, he will almost certainly stay, if he can't he will almost certainly go.

45 minutes of a preseason friendly, without our 1st or even 2nd defence....but again, which part is that Joe not working hard?

At 29 if he had spent the last 15 years working hard with the ball at his feet and maybe even his left hand side then we wouldn't be having this conversation

What other reason other than sentiment that would make you field out the wrong player for the wrong system?

You seem to be working on the assumption that it is 100% certain that Joe cannot be of any use to Pep or the club at any point in the medium or long term and working on the assumption that anyone who wants Joe to stay agrees with your assessment but still want him to stay regardless. It must be great to have such fantastic knowledge of Pep and football in general that you can see into the future not to mention your powers to know exactly what everyone else is thinking.

Are you worried for Joe if we bring in either Ter Stegen or Bravo?

Exactimoundo mate. I really hope I'm right and he's able, because what a keeper we'd have. Best one on one stopper in the world, fantastic shot stopper, leader and trained by Pep to be über confident with the ball at his feet.....and he's blue through and through

I reckon if people thought of their best Hart saves, most would be to his left.

That's true you've got an opinion. I have an opinion as well. The difference is I can back my opinion, everybody here has seen him play for 6+ years. He has never shown the capability to pass or have composure on the ball. If you really think Hart pass it, you have some evidence to do so. If you say Joe has composure on the ball, it either means: You've never seen our games, or You don't understand what building up from the back means so you don't know what to look for. If by passing you mean just flicking it to our defender to the side without anyone near him, then my nan can do that as well. Everybody's got an opinion but If you can't back your opinions, means they're just utter rubbish.

I would hope so too. I would be very sad to see him go. But I'm not confident.

Had a season ticket 9 years mate, my eyes are 20/20 no glasses or owt. Which part of your heavily backed up opinion is the proof of not only Joe playing in a Pep side, or Pep plying his philosophy in the premier league, because as far as I can tell neither have happened before. It's an unknown, so opioions...mine is that Joe is going to be fine under Pep. Why are you so buthurt about that?

I reckon if people thought of their best Hart saves, most would be to his left.

Most of his bad ones are low to his left, his distribution skills are poor and he doesn't really command the penalty area but that seems a fading part of the game, he has been quite lucky with the dearth of English talent, hart and Rooney have played many times for england but both haven't had much competition. England used to have really good keepers we don't anymore or they are not given the chance at top teams.

He's okay and makes some really good saves but what keeper doesn't it's kind of their job.

- I guess that proves that just because you see it doesn't mean you understand it.

- You don't need to see Joe playing for Pep to know that he doesn't have the composure to be a sweeper-keeper. Quick question : Have you ever seen Joe outside of his penalty box helping the possession?

- It is NOT an unknown. Just because you don't know, doesn't mean it's there.

- Talking about butthurt, I seem to recall you're the one who replied to my post first. You get that yea?

Joe being fine under pep is the best possible outcome and as none of us have a crystal ball the discussion is how likely that is.

Yeah I've seen Joe take throw ins and everything.
Have you seen our games. Utter rubbish. Clearly don't understand..all your words pal, not mine. I was joining in on a dicussion with an opposite opinion.
You don't seem to grasp the concept of a difference of opinion.
Nev Knev gets it, your the one trying to force what you believe to be right upon me, are you in fact omnipotent in all matters of football? Are you so upset because it should be you on sky with Jamie in a snazzy grey suit?

I get that mate, doesn't mean I should change my optimistic view because the outers say he can't, won't or is incaple. Everyone I ever heard who has trained with Joe, from other keepers to coaches all have said the same, he works hard on improving, and he's got a very open mind to it.
