I haven’t posted too often in here (just as well, too!), but I'd be delighted if he did come. But I can't see it. The perception is that both clubs are entrenched in their positions. If a deal does happen, one of them would appear (repeat for my critics, appear) to need to give way (though it'd be spun to seem otherwise). Are either of them likely to do that?

Well if its true Chelsea will pay the asking price then i doubt Brighton would give way.

Fair point. If that rumour is true, why would Brighton suddenly accept a figure 20% less, just because the player wants to come to us?
