If he had a £50m release clause, we’d have paid it no questions asked by now.
Really frustrating City won’t just add an extra 10m for a left back who can play like how we would want him to and can stay for 10 years.
Has anyone mentioned

Words to keep us satisfied as we ship goals on the left.
If we're at this point in a month's time then I'd agree, however, there is still plenty of time to get a left-back. I'd rather we had it sorted now, but we don't live in a perfect world. Cancelo has played plenty of games for us at left-back and will manage a few more. It's not every week he comes up against Salah and he certainly won't in the next four weeks. I'd rather the club take stock and not panic.Has anyone mentioned

We are - but it was bloody close and we clearly need to strengthen that position to ensure it continues. You forgot “reigning Champions” ; )
Selling Zinchenko before signing a replacement is an absolutely farcical way to go about business.
I know I know, the board are all geniuses and some people on here would make criticising them a crime punishable by death, but they are prone to fuck ups like this driven by nothing but their own stubbornness on occasion.
We liberally haven’t had a proper left back since Kolarov and Clichy. It’s fucking mental.
