Not bothered if we do not find a left back. We have done great with players out of position and won more silverware than any team in the PL.

Brighton being greedy or we should simply pay another 10mill. is simply stupid. Cucurella is not the best LB all of sudden because we put an interest in him.

No doubt Txiki and Pep have enough vision to see if we need Cucurella that much. The player only proved himself over one PL season. As great a season he has, it doesn’t automatically mean he would’ve stepped in and make us better straight away.

Anyways if we start without a LB fine. If we get another LB I’m sure Pep makes him good enough to play for us in time. If that player is Cucurella or any other LB Txiki and Pep seems fit it’ll do for me.

No idea I thought there was a rule that a new owner can spend loads as long as he has a plan to be self sufficient! Now though I don’t know Uefa have new ffp rules premier I don’t think have announced there new ffp rules yet!?

If the budget for a left back is £30m then I'm not sure we'll find anyone decent for that price.

Maybe a young but inexperienced player? However he's going to Girona.

Maybe an older player? However we don't tend to do that anymore.

It's why I think, and hope I'm very wrong, that we won't be bringing in any other player.

Pep will be asked to work miracles again and shoring up a hole in the squad with players out of position.

Brighton have always said they want more than they got for white As they think he is a better player and covers 3 positions for them. I don’t see the issue here at all.

Brighton have come out of this well as cucurella gets his move and bloom got his figure.

Planet Clever and Shrewd, Tony Bloom is a smart operator, he’ll max his options to the hilt, can’t blame him. They sold Bissouma for a large fee, that was enough, he’s under no pressure to sell Cucurella but if he does he’s getting the best possible deal for his Club.

Planet short term gain, long term pain more like.

He’s maxing out this deal, and fair play to him for that - but the precedent it creates for their business model will have repercussions way beyond this deal.

I think he’s overplayed his hand in a fit of ego, to be honest - which is not unusual in poker - and will pay for it in future windows.

Still - who gives a fuck. I’m just glad we’re out of it now.

I hope he goes on the de Laurentiis and Levy list of time wasters we don’t bother playing games with again in future.

Grealish had a buyout clause which made it only a matter of agreeing personal terms with the player & meeting the BoC. It was that simple.
