Nothing to do with new toys.
You should always be looking to improve
Zin was a €2m midfielder who through sheer grit made himself useful as a LB
He has a shitload of medals but knows himself he wouldn’t be signed as a LB by any other teams looking to win CLs and PLs.
Look at the level of the teams interested in signing him
Like Raz and Gabby, great while it lasted, thanks for your service and professionalism, lets all shake hands and move on
Southern Cemetery is full of people who were considered indispensable

You’re joking right?
Who cares if Zin is a ”class act” or it being disrespectful? These are just feelings. Look at the data. That’s the only thing that should matter.

Cucurella is a gigantic upgrade on Zinchenko. Why else would City go for him?







Do you see Zinchenko anywhere in those stats? Zinchenko made a few massive games last season but let’s not kid ourselves. Cucurella for me is a dream signing. Capable of adding huge stability in defence and great stats going forward.

what the fuck? you can knock cucurella if you want for whatever other "thing" he's missing, but he's absolutely RAPID quick.. you've clearly not watched him ever. To say he's "not exactly lightning quick" is absurd

That's just revisionist nonsense. I love zinny but he's played 1000 PL minutes last season for a reason. He's not a better player than cucurella, if he were he'd already be a starter for city. he's good, he's a solid squad player, he'd excel in most other teams, but there were also months and months last season where he hasn't played a minute, he's not an elite fullback.

You can’t have a shiny new toy for every position. Like children on here who think any new singing is better than what we already have just because they get to watch a new singing interview on the website etc. Grow up.

Zin is more than capable of doing a great job at LB.

As it stands Pep, Txiki and the club agree with me. Lot of growing up to do for some of you obsessed with shiny new toys for every position. No loyalty to our current squad either. Hang your heads in shame.

Southern cemetery and Old Trafford
 
I think with the Sterling deal going thru we should seriously consider over paying to get this deal over the line. It's now the most important position to fill. DM CF and LB covered would be a great window.
