Bloom is a fan he is the biggest fan Brighton has. Cucurella is 23 and has 4 years left on his contract. We will be in a strong position next summer.
The Seagulls have now posted losses of over £270 million in their four completed seasons as a top flight club. That puts them into the top 10 loss making clubs in Premier League history
You need the money,

We are in negotiating a new contract with him. How is that Bloom acting different from the fans?
Why did bloom not offer a new contract at the end of the season? Instead waited to put a token gesture on the table once city arrived on the scene. Look at the difference between how you sell and how city sell. We as fans want Zin to stay but the player wants to leave. We will receive an ok fee and he will go with our thanks.

You can’t keep players once a bigger team arrives. Especially not a player who only arrived last season. The hold up is money related. Anything else is propaganda from bloom.

Not at any price. since covid we have operated a transfer policy of near net 0 spend. This season is the same. Our first two season we had a net spend of £130m.

We have changed our policy but not to one where we bow down to you guys, just ask Arsenal last season.

We can keep any players we want. Its about how the player reacts to it. Dunk put in a transfer request years ago when Fulham came in for him. We rejected it and he accepted the situation, he has signed many contracts since.

Stephens put in a transfer request when Burnley put in a bid for him. We rejected it and the following summer when we got promoted he signed a new contract.

Ulloa put in a transfer request which we rejected after Leicester put in a bid. He made it clear that he wanted to go to Leicester. We rejected another couple of bids from Leicester. In the end we accepted a £10m bid for him (twice the original bid).

If you want Cucurella and he doesn't want to stay with us you will get him but we won;t bow to your pressure when we don't have to.

Burnley, Fulham, Leicester all good teams but you are now dealing with the top team in England for over 10 seasons. Pep calls very few can say no.

He has already said he can't say no if the opportunity arises, its about if he is still happy if the opportunity doesn't arise and we don't accept an offer or you don't make an offer for us to accept.

I don't understand where people get the impression that he is unhappy at the moment. I can't see any evidence for that, So why do we have to accept an offer we don't want to.

Why would u offer a player a contract extension if u did not need to. Once city have come in we then offered an extension. We dont know if Cucu wants to leave, likewise we dont know if you lot want him, its only what some are saying on social media. All i know is Bloom will have a figure in his head as to what he wants, offer around that price and im sure talks will start. No propaganda there. Bloom has said that he if the right offer comes in he will sale. Thats him neing reslistic along with the fans.
