nah it's just that the german journalist reported the fee in euros (€35m) and the aggregator converted it to £ while rounding it down. it's clearly the same bid.

I’ve thought’d I’d seen all the media tricks to make us look worse, but reducing the amount of a bid to make it look like we’re taking the piss even more is a new one!

It’s funny because it’s the first time I’ve ever seen the amount of money we’ve offered as being underrepresented!
