The three positions we needed to strengthen and have known we needed to strengthen for a long while are..
Striker - Haaland/Alvarez - done early
Defensive mid - Phillips - done early
Left back…
I get Cucurella is our main target, but we do seem to be fannying about.
We must have a price in mind that we are prepared to pay, bid it and if it gets rejected move on ffs.
What with the Mendy ‘situation’ we’ve obviously got a list of left back targets, so hurry up and sign one.
Losing Zinchenko has obviously highlighted the fact and made that position more urgent.
Clubs will now know this and take the piss accordingly, along with the ‘City tax’
We’ll now be overpaying regardless.

All the Chelsea journos are reporting it now. It looks onIf Chelsea want to pay that much for him, good luck to them. I suspect this is part of the negotiating game and they aren't interested but time will tell.

Not really cuz he cannot play wingback to rotate with Chilwell. Cucurella is a much better fit and better playerAke would of been ideal
True but they already attempted to sign him but weren't prepared to meet our valuation.But then with Laporte out recovering from surgery, who would cover our LCB?
