No one this end has said anything since Saturday, anything could have happened since then, but Marc is a long way from striking at the moment.

If there is no official offer then going by the Ben White transfer we are not going to lift a finger to help you guys. It will be down to you lot and his agent to do the running around.

It sounds like you will want him by the weekend but I can't see that happening as he is happily in Portugal until then

I doubt he is happy mate. He is playing for Brighton after all-:) He will get a move. Club executives tend to treat each other with respect on the whole. You might want a player off City in the future. A compromise will be made that suits all parties.

I'm sure there will be a lot of respect but that doesn't mean we will help, just like you didn't help us in November when we tried getting Mcatee of you but you didn't want to sell.

I don’t think he will strike at all. It looks like we have just put an offer in so let’s see what happens now.

£50m should help. Bloom will more than double the fee paid for Cucu. Brighton are a selling club. No disrespect intended. The noise is all bluster to keep the fans happy. The owner has pumped in a lot of money and will need to see some of it back from time to time.

Football hierarchy that’s all. In the past, city had to release our best players. All this talk of help is way off the mark. If a fee can’t be agreed then city will rightly walk away. Another lb will be targeted. Brighton will be left with an unhappy player who will not want to continue. The cards are not stacked in your favour.

I also recall Francis Lee threatening Bolton with a strike if they didn't sell him to City.

He had his waste paper business up and running and they knew he wasn't bluffing.

Well that's not negotiating could cost us more in the long run. We definitely need a LB.
What's our valuation is it reasonable.
