EXCLUSIVE

Manchester City are set to abandon their pursuit of Marco Reus after being given indication that the player would prefer a summer move to Real Madrid, Goal understands.
City's interest in the Germany international dates back to the summer of 2013 after Reus' scintillating form helped guide Borussia Dortmund to the Champions League final.
Txiki Begiristain, Manchester City's director of football, has maintained close contact with the Bundesliga club and until recently had been given the impression that Reus was keen on the idea of joining the current Premier League champions.
"City are particularly disappointed with the latest update on Reus," a source told Goal. "The club have put a serious amount of groundwork in on this deal but just as with Mario Gotze and Robert Lewandowski they are now pretty much resigned to losing out."
Reus has been an equally long-term target of Real Madrid, who are considering making the former Borussia Monchengladbach star their headline purchase in the summer.
Bayern Munich also harbour interest in the forward, although Dortmund are keen not to allow Pep Guariola's side to complete a hat-trick of high-profile signings following the defections of Gotze and Lewandowski, while they also issued a statement last week denying the Bundesliga champions had first option on the player.
Reus has also not ruled out the possibility of staying with Dortmund should Jurgen Klopp's side qualify for the Champions League despite a poor start to the season.
Despite Manchester City's emergence as a genuine force domestically and, potentially, abroad they continue to struggle to land the majority of their A-list transfer targets with Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Isco and Alexis Sanchez all having snubbed City interest over the course of the last few transfer windows.
City are hopeful that the opening of the new £200 million Etihad Campus, allied to their growing stature in Europe, likely to be enhanced further by qualification for the knockout stages of the Champion League, would help in attracting star names to the club but they appear to have missed out on Reus.
Sergio Aguero and David Silva signed new long-term contracts in the summer but the club continues to press ahead with ambitious plans to boost Manuel Pellegrini's attacking options for next season.
Reus and Everton's Ross Barkley are the names at the top of the Chilean’s wish-list, while the club also harbour ambitious plans to tempt Lionel Messi from Barcelona.
Edin Dzeko and Stevan Jovetic are on the radar of several Serie A clubs and their sales could help fund the purchase of a stellar arrival, while Yaya Toure and Samir Nasri have both spoken recently about their futures potentially lying elsewhere.
