Marco Reus

That's a scary front 6.

Scary enough with Benzema there. He's fantastic, both in scoring and assists. I don't see why Real would want to get rid of him but if it's the case we should totally get on that.

Not transfer related but quite a large fine he has had.

Borussia Dortmund and Germany winger Marco Reus has been fined more than half a million pounds for driving without a licence.
The 25-year-old has been advertising his club's car sponsor and has also appeared in adverts for petrol.
Reus also received speeding tickets on at least five occasions from 2011 before authorities realised he had been driving without a licence.
"The reasons I did it are something I cannot really understand," he said.

Dortmund said they had discussed the matter with the player and spokesman Sascha Fligge said: "He has promised such a thing will not happen again."

Reus, who missed Germany's World Cup triumph in July after picking up an ankle injury in the final warm-up game, has repeatedly been linked with a move to the Premier League but is currently out until the New Year with another ankle injury.

Has he been spending some time with Mario? :)

Half a million??? Bloody hell.

Doesn't Germany have some sort of income based fine system?
Finland has something similar, as well as income based tax benefits, child support, welfare, housing allowance and so on.
It's a good idea I think.

Not every fine is. Not the usual up to 30 km/h speeding ticket etc. But the bigger verdicts are.

Driving without permit can cause you a fine and/or up to one year in prison. And the 90 day fine (equalizes 90 days of his net wage) ain't very strict for the verdict he has done.

You have to see that the 18 year old that only has a permit for a 125 ccm motorbike and drives with a 250 ccm once and gets caught usually has a big fine (in relation to his income), often to do social duty hours - and gets denied to do his car driving license up to 2 years.

Marco Reus told that he started driving school but somewhen quit before doing the examination. But he drove without license for the recent 7 years - even showed a false permit from the Netherlands - not the small cars but had a car park with Range Rover, Porsche and Austin Martin Vanquish. He made advertising for Aral and Opel had a special addition of the "ADAM OPEL BVB 09" presented by Marco Reus...

According to Daily Express Reus has agreed to join Real Madrid at the end of the season.
Whilst it's another top class lost off our radar perhaps one of Madrids other stars will be on the move.

If that's the case: he's shit anyway.

I wonder though, if they are making plans for a future without Tranny?

No chance in my opinion.

Real Madrid just know that with Ronaldo going into his thirties he won't be able to bomb up and down that left wing, so instead I think we will be seeing him as a centre forward more from next season.

Reus will be bought to play on that left hand side.

Even if Ronaldo depreciates as a player and loses 20 goals to his game a season, he will still get 25-30 goals, the man is unbelievable.

Don't think it will be tranny but Bale may be a possibility. Dare I mention it but the other person surplus to requirements could be ISCO.
