He'd be the dream signing next summer, and it's not implausible. We'll be in a good position with the FFP shackles off, and the squad only needs tweaking. I think we'll be balls out for a marquee signing. Just hope he doesn't follow Goetze and Lewandowski to Bayern.

Depends I suspect on how Jovetic performs if he doesn't come up to scratch maybe there would be scope there replace him for Reus. Provided of course Falcao signs, next seasons strike force of Aguero, Falcao, Djeko and Reus may look pretty mean.

If we loan/sell Negredo, could we in theory launch a bid for Reus, with the Garcia-, Rodwell-, AND Negredo-money, or would we have to wait until next summer before we can use the money from Valencia?
If we can use the money now, why not try a cheeky bid at £40-42m? They have signed Kagawa, so they wouldn't necessarily need a direct replacement, as they haven't sold anyone either.

Said the same thing in the Negredo and Falcao threads. I think it's too late to do a deal of that magnitude, though.
