Because the over 50’s and people still remembering when we were shite say that some only want shiny new toys etc! If dinho gets injured or suspended then we have square pegs for round holes and in the champions league we will get done again! The best in the world in every walk of life improve every year and that’s how you stay ahead of the game. If we do need someone in January it will be even more expensive than doing it now!

That was my point - I'm not sure that there are, but I am not itk. But it is possible that Pep or his team are aware of players who might be.
I am not fretting however and am looking forward to the new season - with or without any further signings .

Agree about the new season. Personally I think Gundo does a great job in that position so we have an excellent deputy. All we need to do is figure out how to stop having 15 minute meltdowns against a high press and we'll win the lot.

Napoli caused problems too with their pressing as well. At one point at the Etihad we could not get out of our own half.Absolutely - and it's only really the dippers who have caused us real problems with their press. Definitely need some solution to that and quickly.

I agree. He can do the ferna role quite well. Great passer, great technique and calm on the ball.In Gundogan I trust.....
