I struggle to see how anyone can have anything negative to say about this. Excellent initiative that I'm sure many vulnerable children will benefit greatly from. If I was a Mancunian, I'd be proud to have someone like Rashford actively trying to help the vulnerable children in my city.

If it makes someone uneasy then they need to think long and hard about why.

Just got to say massive respect to the lad and I can take my bert tinted specs off and say I cannot fault what he has been doing and this letter and interview today.

Maybe to stop disadvantaged children from going hungry and not developing properly? Give them a decent chance at life.I have explained why the government should not pay for school meals during the holidays, I asked you why they should, not Rashford.
Football really is the modern day opiate for the masses when you've got people who are so blinkered they can't see beyond club rivalries to support making the government responsible for ending fucking child hunger of all things.
For me it is nothing to do with club rivalry. just how do you end this child hunger ? Soon the state will be expected to provide 3 meals a day. Rashfords letter is about meals during the holidays, are the kids just wandering the streets for 12 hours ? whether you agree with food banks or not, are we saying that parents cannot afford to provide a basic meal for their offspring, seriously ?
I grew up in the 60's when nobody I knew had any money, I never went without food even if it was beans on toast.
