by all means we can engage them in conflict & beat them, but the day we execute them in cold blood, without them being armed, & accept & reward our soldiers for doing such, we become them.
People can say, 'Our soldiers shouldn't stoop to their level', 'Our soldiers have morals', 'They are there to do a job', but can anyone really expect these soldiers to be of sane mind when each day their lives are at risk?

Stooping to their level makes us as bad as them, do you not see that?
I'm not convinced the United States & Britain, as it's lap dog, are the best moral parameter to give example of moral behaviour (in the O.P's case Britain is) but still the point stands.
The losers are the peaceful civilians in all wars anyway.
