Mario, Dzeko, Or Tevez to Start with Sergio on Saturday....,

Given Tevez's lack of fitness I don;t think starting the game with him is feasible at this point.

Balotelli has been way off form recently, as has Dzeko.

For me we might be better going 4-5-1, with the ability to go 4-3-3 whenever we wish, and only playing Aguero from the start. Slot in a midfield 5 of Yaya, Nasri, Silva, Barry and Milner and that should be enough to see off Sunderland.
This is exactly what we should go for from now until the end of the season

I reckon this is all bollocks about Tevez not being fit enough. When he came on against Chelsea, he worked harder than any other player.

For those saying to start Dzeko: do you actually want to win the title?

Start Tevez, Mario, Aguero even Johnson before him. Dzeko will just let us down and Saturday is a great opportunity to extend the gap in goal difference. We need to be clinical, not wasting numerous chances.

Hart
Richards Kompany* Lescott* Clichy

Milner Barry

Silva Yaya Nasri

Sergio*

*if fit

Tevez on for whoever is not performing well in the midfield at 55 minutes.
Johnson on if they are parking the bus.
De Jong/Pizzaro/Dzeko/Mario on if needed.

Well I am going to a beer festival Saturday before the game and would like a perfect end to the day with a stunning victory - we must get back to battering sides.

It's always a conundrum starting a game. If a player isn't fit enough do u start him, get into the lead and then bring someone else on, or do you wait for it to go tits up and use them as an impact sub?

I always wonder what's the best option!

How long does it take an athlete to regain his fitness?I realise he has been inactive for 5 months, but hasn't he been on an intense training programme now for a month and didn't he apparantly do some training in his absence?

I would play with just Sergio but push Toure further forward or even alongside him.

I think it's better if you can get him on at 0-0. Much more difficult for them to have an impact on the game when we're already a goal down.

Personally I would drop Mario altogether from the squad (It will do him good) and start Aguero and Dzeko. We're at home, we should be playing with 2 strikers, especially when Sunderland will park the bus.
