Mario - I'll walk off pitch if faced with racism

I think the manager should walk the entire team off.

Tournament shouldn't be being played there anyway, any country with severe hooligan and racism problems shouldn't even get a look in for major tournaments.

This ^^^^^^Why this tournament is being held here I just dont know. The English and EUFA should hang their heads in shame. To do nothing is to take sides. They are advising fans of asain or african origin not to travel. Mario is right and I hope he is not the only one. I hope the first player to walk off on hearng any organsied overt chants with his head held high is white.

They are the ones to blame in agreeing to host the tournament in those countries.

I agree but also to blame are those that are prepared to condone it until the game has finish of course, and I am saddened that we have some of them who support city. I would rather stick pins in me eyes than watch that tournement in that country.

Unfortunately I think he'd be better advised to do this if it happened when playing for City rather than Italy. I'm confident that City and the FA would support him, not so sure about italy.

Good job its not the world cup because he'd be facing a lenghthy ban for not going shaking hands with all the thugs chanting obsenities.

I will still try and watch it but it would be very difficult with all the potential trouble at the tournament.

I would hope everyone would support mario or any other player who walked off.

Aside from the racism do we not hear about the potential for hooliganism before every tournament. It is as if the media wants it to occur at times.

Tbh i can imagine Mario will get fired up, score, do his celebration where he squares up to the opposing crowd, cause a riot and the media will slaughter him.
