Milner and AJ it is then.
i think we've established that milner isn't a winger

Saw him a lot at Villa last season and would agree he's not an out and out winger like AJ, but he does offer more in the centre should Yaya move forward to support Tevez, he can tackle and is very fit, could be asked to follow Nasri all night.

It's been known for some time, so hardly worth starting another thread. As I said before, it will now be a damage limitation exercise tomorrow. At least an Arsenal win may hurt the Rags more than us because we are realistically battling for third place with Chelsea and Spurs in my view. Nothing wrong with that.

you do my swede in

By the MEN
Manchester City will be without David Silva and Mario Balotelli for Wednesday's crucial Premier League encounter at Arsenal.
The pair have both been struck down by knee injuries, with Silva possibly out for two weeks.
"It is a big problem," said manager Roberto Mancini.
"Neither of them will be available."
Silva in particular will be a loss at the Emirates given his growing influence on the Blues in recent weeks.
"David has been an important player for us and has been doing well recently," said Mancini.
"Hopefully, he will be back for the Wolves game on January 15. Mario might be back for the FA Cup tie at Leicester on Sunday."
Silva did not train on Monday after damaging his knee in the 1-0 win over Blackpool on New Year’s Day.
It was initially believed that his omission from the Carrington session was precautionary, and initial examinations have not revealed any significant damage.
But the swelling on his knee has not settled as quickly as the Blues medical staff had hoped.
Balotelli did take part in some light training, but the swelling on his knee – which kept him out of the Blackpool game – has not responded as well as Roberto Mancini had hoped.
Still think one or both will play (based on recent economies with the injuries truth) anyway I await Dougie's training report with interest.

Firstly, can we ban guests? This is the fourth time I've tried to post on here.

I now think our line up SHOULD be.

.........................Hart...........................
Richards.....K. Touré.....Kompany.....Kolarov
.....Barry..........De Jong..........Milner.......
...............Yaya....................................
.............................................AJ........
..............................Tevez...................

Forget the title now - after tomorrow Spuds will be 2 behind with game in hand - I can honestly see us battling with Chelski for 4th

God in heaven, why the negativity? Even if I accept your predicted result (which I do not) Spurs would be 2 behind with a game in hand, but would be yet to play Arsenal away (a game they will lose as usual) whereas we will have already played it.

So you can say Spurs will be 2 behind with a game in hand that they will lose and therefore they will stay behind.

Spurs played Arsenal away and they won 3-2!!!!!!! So thats fucked that plan up. There game in hand is not a hard team.

Some people are just embarrasing on this thread though. With attitudes like that we should just give up and play for Europa league spot

some of the limp dicked bleating on this thread is embarrassing - City win 0-2

That's the spirit.
The forum is overrun by little girls at the moment, time for the team to stand up like men and show that we're not a one trick pony and can win without Silva just as we have done without Teves.

As for the rest of you wimps, man up!

Well that very much sucks! I had gladly settled for a draw even with the 2 of them playing, now i will be delighted with the one point (and more importantly, not losing ground to Arsenal).

As for the lineup, i think the key will be to match them on the center midfield and on the wings. If it comes down to a matchup with their central defense against tevez against our central defense vs. Van Persie i think we will win.

Adam Johnson can almost match Walcotts pace and will help Zabaleta/Boateng cover him, and Milner have bote the technical level and tenacity to help Kolarov against Nasri, so that'll be the way to go for me.

I definetely think Yaya, Barry and De Jong will matchup fine against Song, Fabregas and Wilshere.

Should be a very interesting game, and a good test of our depth.
