RM thought he could and he had been warned by Mourinho, there will be others who will take the chance hoping he will lost his petulant streak.

Mario Balotelli says his former coach José Mourinho had no valid reason to warn Manchester City against signing him.

I hope it's just paper talk. Even though he had a bit of a brain fart - to say the least - yesterday he has been belting to watch throughout the season.

I really thought RM had sorted him out. It's a real shame, with the talent he has and the passion displayed both on and off the pitch.

But Mancini had managed Mario before Mourinho, so why should he warn him?

Was just José getting his name in the paper again.

I did find -

Roberto Mancini has lost patience with Mario Balotelli and could be willing to listen to offers for him, according to reports.

The Manchester City boss admitted that he was not happy with the controversial Italian hitman following Saturday's 3-3 draw against Sunderland at the Etihad Stadium, despite the fact that he scored two goals as the side came back from 3-1 down to snatch a late point.

After seeing his side fail to win and move level on points with league leaders Manchester United, who could go five clear of them with a victory at Blackburn on Monday evening, Mancini told reporters: "He didn't play well. "

"We had only Carlos [Tevez] on the bench. I thought about this after five minutes. In the end he scored two goals, but..."

It appears that Balotelli's antics and lack of discipline on and off the pitch are a growing concern for Mancini and he is now at the end of his tether.

As a result The Telegraph suggests that City will make the player available for sale in the summer transfer window with former club Inter Milan and rivals AC Milan amongst the big clubs who are reportedly willing to take him back to his homeland.

Mancini had to stick with Balotelli on Saturday as Sergio Aguero was sidelined due to a foot injury the coach described as 'stupid' on Friday.

However, following the Black Cats' match, he admitted that the Argentinian had reacted badly to a pain-killing spray used on the injury he picked up in the recent win against Chelsea.

Mancini felt City's inability to defeat Sunderland was largely down to Aguero's absence and he hopes to have him back for next Sunday's trip to Arsenal.

Here you go you tight buggers. Just so you know the telegraph has the same story only very slightly diff wording.

Here is the times version...

"ROBERTO MANCINI is ready to cut loose Mario Balotelli after finally losing patience with the mercurial striker. The Manchester City manager is expected to sanction Balotelli’s departure in the summer, with AC Milan and Inter Milan bidding to take him back to Serie A against a backdrop of continued ill-discipline and diminishing form from the 21-year-old.

On Friday, Mancini, pivotal in the club’s decision in 2010 to pay Inter £18.5m for a player Jose Mourinho labelled “unmanageable”, declared: “I don’t trust Mario. No-one trusts Mario.” His opinion of his fellow Italian appeared to plunge further yesterday.

Though Balotelli scored twice and instigated City’s late comeback to draw 3-3 against Sunderland, Mancini was furious with another erratic performance from the player. He made the remarkable admission that for most of the game he had wished he could substitute Balotelli but felt unable to because Carlos Tevez, his only replacement striker, is not ready for long stints on the pitch, having missed five months of the season after going back to Argentina. “We had only Carlos on the bench. I was thinking [of substituting Balotelli] after five minutes,” Mancini said. “Mario didn’t play well. In the game the strikers should be the difference but not just in the last few minutes — before then.”

Mancini was also angry at an incident between Balotelli and Aleksandar Kolarov when City were 3-1 down. City’s captain, Vincent Kompany, had to pull Balotelli away from his teammate after he reacted petulantly when Kolarov refused to let him take a free kick.

Balotelli could be one of three strikers leaving City as Mancini prepares for a radical overhaul of his forward line. The departure of Tevez is mutually desired and offers will be considered for the discontented Edin Dzeko, who cost City £27m. City will have to resist interest from Real Madrid in Sergio Aguero, their Argentine leading goalscorer for whom they paid £38m. The Spanish champions believe they may be able to interest City in a cash-plus-player deal involving Gonzalo Higuain. Mancini claimed his team “would have won” had Aguero been available yesterday but City’s top scorer was missing after suffering a bizarre allergic reaction to a spray.

The 3-3 draw ended City’s 100% home record in the league. Even if they win their final seven games, they are no longer guaranteed to be champions."

This is assuming Roberto is going to be around in the summer to make decisions on sales and purchases.

And now for the more interesting question:

Who would buy a clown like Balotelli?

PSG or Anzi Maklavlakla? I doubt Galliani would buy him, despite Mario's former interest in playing along Zlatan in Milan.
