Playing like he cares.

Mario always cared.

It is my belief that Balotelli cared too much when he was here and it worked against him. He appeared to want to be loved by everyone and be a big success however his immaturity created situations which kept coming up to haunt him.

Instead of being loved he became a media toy, hated by everyone not connected with City. Story after story running him down, critiquing, calling him a clown... Pundits like Hanson and Rednap constantly publically berating him... Is it any wonder he lost his will to succeed here?

Even if he came across as not the smartest tool in the box he most certainly knew he was not the hero he wanted to be.

A joker, immature? Yes, but generous and an uncut diamond that may well become the finished article in a place where it won't 'always be him' getting blamed for everything.

I wish him luck. He praised our fans, our team, the players and the management, not remotely necessary but he did it, so respect.

The filthy rag media who hounded him out will be the first to suffer from his departure as their column inches shrink and sales fall now that their scapegoat has left them all sitting in their own stagnant cess pits of rag infested shite.
hit the nail right on the head there

Mario is on fire and looking great, even better than Van Persie.

Van Persie? He's like a cross between Messi and Pele

#massiveoverreaction

Over-exaggeration all this stuff about him running more for Milan than in all his time here etc.

He's had good games for us as well and I recall him tracking back and making tackles in and around our own penalty area plenty of times.

Mario has shown he is capable of good games. It's consistency and his attitude when things aren't going perfectly that's been his problem. 45mins is only 45 mins. I hope he does well and one day returns as a star but this is his debut back in Italy, you'd expect a decent performance.

He scored on his debut for us too if I recall correctly. He left with a reputation of not being that great, depending what you care about in the world of football. As someone else has already said, he's found his level. Fair play to him for doing that.

Is that the same level he found against Germany
If you could say 'and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and - and another load of ands with various games after them, you'd have a point.

Haha

Italys current 1st choice number 9 at 22.
Italy's manager thinks he's good enough.
I think I'll take his opinion over a house husbands

Are you watching the game? he's the focal point, the main man, the top dog upfront.
No he isn't he started on the left, drifting around and dropping deep.

He's through the middle fella, El Shaarawy on one side, Niang on the other, Mario through the middle.

The middle.

Is Mario through the middle then :)

Ok mate.

He's started the second half just like he played for us.

Walking around and sulking when a pass or shot doesn't come off...
