Mark Clattenberg

All sides get bad decisions and we got one tonight.

The Newcastle one at Utd was never a penalty
Spurs should have had 2 more penalties yesterday.

Shit happens in football.

The ref wasnt to blame for our totally shite performance from 25 mins to the sending off.

Following that I actually thought we did ok.

Sore losers on here.
Dont blame the ref,to many poor performances out there tonight.Bad tactical changes and the most important thing was we stopped doing all the good things after 25 minutes.

"dont blame the ref" .... bollocks mate. He didn't even give a clear view silva penalty which would have put us 2-0 up and changed the a face of the game. Performance wasn't City-esque but your comment about the ref is Bullshit.

The whole world saw that penalty so personally the ref had a poor game and made critical mistakes.

So you expect a full 90 minute swithout a ref making a bad decision.
My friend welcome to planet earth. And you come from which planet please ?
Think you`ll find that overall the ref had a better game than most City players.

Errmmm ... Earth, mate

I expect a F*cking "Premiership class Ref" who was 5 f*ckin YARDS away with a clear view of the foul to make SOMEKIND of a decision, whether it be diving on Silva or a Pen ... they even showed his viewing angle on post match and were surprised he didn't give it.

That is not what you call a poor decision, that's what you call being biased. You need to read some of the posts and you will see the ref was poor both on us and on Chelsea decisions.. I don't blame our players and I even said they weren't City-esque and class but they held it for as long they could. 2-0 up at half time would have changed the structure and direction of the game, killed the crowd and settled us more.

But no matter, we're still at the TOP and I say bring on Arse!!

Great, I can go back to calling Lescott liability now we're all agreed on it.

Haha, sorry I must refrain from giving my opinion in future.

But surely you don't really believe that was a bad decision?!
Yup, certainly do.

Fair enough, although I beg to differ. That's what forums are about. I won't make a smarmy comment though.

Will people stop saying "Twattenburg's back", he never went away he still missed a stone wall penalty in the derby and missed a blantent foul on Dzeko against Fulham.

Still a complete shite referee

Oakie read that mate, Clatten-tosser-burg is not a good ref. He has consistent poor games, especially with us.

Re: Clattenbergs huge gambling debts!!!

We're beginning to sound like spuds fans ......let's deal with it and move on

Now I'm off to set up F.C City of Manchester..who's in?

Thought Meireles should have been off early. Not sure about the pen (if it wasnt a pen why no booking for a dive), no complaints about Clichy or Lescott pen.

Still a twat.

Cant complain about the Chelsea pen. Yes we should of had 1 for the Silva tackle if that was given we could of got a win there tonight. Regarding the sending off Clichy shouldnt of dived in. Meireles should of gone for the tackle on Zab the ref seen it but didnt send him off. A crazy decision as any tackle like that normally results in a straight red card. Yaya too was lucky to stay on. You cant take any risks and having a little kick out is stupid and he should know by now that he shouldnt be doing it. Yaya maybe should of been taken off during the game for De Jong as once Chelsea scored the first he was no use to us and lost the plot.

This game will make us stronger in the long term we will learn a hell of a lot from this game we have to play Chelsea at home and we will get our revenge there.

Gael Clichy - 2nd yellow; no qualms.

Lescott pen - no qualms

However...

Clattenburg bottled it for a clear pen on Silva in 1st half.

He then bottled it for a 2nd yellow on Meireles in the 1st half.

Sadly for us, we battled a Chelsea side there for the taking but who were aided and abetted by another 4 players - ie the officials.

It WILL happen again this season, but I am proud of the lads and Chelsea et al still have the return at our place I really look forward to that.

The ONLY way they can stop is is by means that are "foul" rather than "fair".

CTID - no one is gonna stop us.

Took us being down to 10 men for 30 odd minutes and a penalty to beat us.

Loved reading this post by blueste41! It's all good guys and girls, we'rte still at the top .. bring Arsenal on. Hoping QPR draw or beat Rags and I just can't wait for Chelsea to come to our pitch in the new year.

disgraceful display at times from clattenberg, how he didnt give a penalty for the foul on silva, only he knows his decision making was baffling a shocking challenge on silva by morrales was a red, countless fouls on mario where he just did'nt want to know, about the only thing he did get right which was unlucky for us was their pen from lescott.. would'nt be surprised to see him getting gubbed in the tunnel after a game,by a player if he keeps fcuking up bigtime with clear cut decisions...
