Mark Clattenburg

Oh dear...

To anyone reading this post, please be advised that the above link is the first step to ruining your enjoyment of the greatest sport in the world. Delve at your own risk. If I were you, I'd just dismiss it as conspiracy theory and forget the website exists.

Honestly, just be ignorant... football hasn't been the same for me since.
There's a massive reason why that website is Bollocks

Howard Webb doesn't work for the PGMOL anymore he left his role at the end of last season

I don't think it helps saying that the ball didn't hit Sterling's arms. From what I saw, it struck the inside of his arm and then his body a fraction of a second later, near enough simultaneuous.

That is not to say I think it was handball - that part of his arm was pretty close to his body and even a Spurs fan's reaction at the time was "what's he meant to do with his arm?"

Don't think the twat is bent...he's just a twat, an attention-grabbing twat. He's always playing to the cameras and gesticulating wildly. He probably thought if he gambled and got the decision right, he would be hailed a brilliant ref by the media. If he got the decision wrong, nobody (other than us City fans) would give a fuck past a week.

If he " gambled on getting the decision right " , then he is a fucking cheat as well as being totally incompetent !

The referee is supposed to be certain that it is a foul before giving a penalty .

In my book, that makes the tw*t a 100% cheat who should be removed from the list of referees . Absolutely wrong decision.

No need to makes excuses for the man, he is corrupt and arrogant.

Couldn't agree more that he needs a sacking! Not making excuses for the ****, just that I don't think his decision is part of a conspiracy specifically against City.

It's about time the club went on the offensive with this guy.
Take a leaf out of bacon face and w make a right fuss the next time he is given one of our games.
Put some pressure on the little shit.

To be honest, you're probably right, as much as we want to enjoy sports as a genuine competitive attraction, it serves as a vital tool in doing 2 things, making money and distraction. The amount of money being put into the EPL only further solidifies this as they'll be wanting the best competitive league possible. We could both be barking nonsense but to not at least entertain the idea is dismissive.

Far more credence to this scenario than the corrupt referees nonsense, the anti City bias is well documented and widely accepted as fact.

I realise that to some this statement may seem hypocritical given my stance on refereeing corruption in the English game but my work brings me into contact with local and national journalists on a regular basis, no reason why you should believe me and I'm not about to reveal any sources but take it or leave it, there is a policy affecting the reporting on City across all media and at all levels.

Never mind about making a fuss if he's selected. We should be saying to Riley that he doesn't referee us again (and neither does that assistant either). Ever.

He didn't referee Everton for quite a few years after his Merseyside derby performance, where he single-handedly delivered the points to Liverpool so it can be done.

I have absolutely no doubt that there is a policy ( agenda may be more appropriate ) against City - it is blatantly obvious across the whole of the bloody media.

We will agree to disagree because I think Clattenburg is corrupt !

And I believe that there are others who also fall into that category. Sorry but money corrupts, and there is plenty of evidence of corruption in sport, meaning that there is no logical reason why referees are exempt from being involved. Just my opinion.

Well I don't wish to labour the point but if there was a scrap of evidence pointing towards corruption in the game at this level then these very same journalists would be all over it in a heartbeat...a story like this would be career defining for any journalist and in these days of decreased 'paper sales it would be manna from heaven for the press.

Pressure from a football club and being either on the payroll or blackmailed by some gangsters are two different things. The pressure from us will mean nowt.

And why is that? Because our rivals get more hits/clicks and therefore generate more revenue for them. And negative stuff on us attracts fans of our rivals so a negative slant on a City story will attract far more clicks than a positive one. The social media experts working at these media outlets tell the journalists how to generate most clicks. That's why the MEN will always use "Manchester United" in a headline, as they know that will generate far more hits than "Man Utd".

and, given that, why then do you find it so difficult to believe that the football authorities would disadvantage us to the advantage of our more popular rivals? It doesn't have to be bent Asian bookies causing the problem. If Sky, BT or the PL want particular outcomes then why wouldn't they put pressure on the football authorities to influence those? They pay them vast fortunes after all and their revenue streams relay on people buying subscriptions to their packages and watching the games.

How many times have other commercial companies used underhand or even illegal tactics to manipulate markets to their advantage and to the detriment of others, including consumers? And if you are a bookie, if you're taking tens or hundreds of millions of dollars in bets on PL games each weekend, why wouldn't you be tempted to make sure the outcomes are weighted in your favour?

Is that so hard to believe?

Given that then and the obvious effect it has on the public reading the shite, it's not a giant leap is it to think refs are equally affected and like the media, those within power in the game don't want us to win anything.

Is there any evidence that as a club, City make representations along those lines ? We seem to prefer keeping a policy of not making a fuss over such things .

Next time they should just keep showing the replays of how bent he is on the big screens and just keep showing them constantly. What is the worse that can happen we get a fine but show the corrupt **** for what he is.

A fine would be nothing to worry about if the bent bastard was shown up for what he is .

The Rags or GPC wouldn't have hesitated - and they are a morally corrupt outfit anyway - but he would have been exposed big style by their media mafia .
