Perhaps corruption is too strong - how about incompetence? Is that really much better?We lost. Get over it.
There's not much hope for some kind of parity in sport if we're followed by people who just 'toe the line'. The Fifa issues weren't that long ago - whether or not you think that may still be prevalent doesn't excuse the fact that we currently have referees that are far from competent. Please don't convince yourself otherwise. I really hope you're not quite as naive as you seem to come across.

While it was a shocker of a decision from an official I firmly believe is corrupt, wishing death on him will earn you some time off.

Clattenburg was the ref in the first game against Spurs, where they got two dodgy offside goals. Maybe it Pellegrini would come out at criticise referees more, and make that the focus of the media reports, we wouldn't have been given the corrupt bastard again for the return leg.
People are slagging off our team a lot today, but the reality is that the ref cost us the game. We had the best chances throughout the game, and Spurs only scored when we were forced into taking more risks defensively because of the dodgy goal they were gifted.
