The second most famous person in Prestwich! Sad news. Used to see him every now and again around Prestwich village. Was in a pub one lunchtime with a mate when he wandered in. Everyone went quiet, he looked around and walked out again.

I bought him a beer once before a gig in Birmingham... seems he didn’t often refuse! Just reading about all of the band members he got through... 60 plus lol... he once said if it’s me and your granny on bongos, it’s The Fall!! RIP....
