Mark Hughes with Jeff Shreeves!

Jeff: Mark was City way below power today?

Mark: Well I think you saw, obviously the team, that we are missing key individuals and err that energy we need in the premierleague, Obviously Fulham had the advantage of having a clear week and err coming into the game we obviously felt the affects of the game in the midweek and when you have tired minds and sometimes when you have tired minds make mistakes in key areas in the field. So at obviously 1-0 we looked comfortable we then make an error and obviously once we go behind in the game too chase the game given our efforts on Thursday aswell it was always going to be difficult for us coz we always had to take a chance and push people forward but err disappointing theres reasons behind it we are missing alot of players err tried to introduce some freshness in the team like Kelvin/Petrov hmm the rest of Robinho just to hopefully give him a break from the football he had, And in the end we went behind in a game that was very difficult for us.

Jeff: One two people are still unhappy how concerned are you about the knock on effect for the match on Thursday?

Mark: Well err I think its hmm the game its the games we have to pick ourself up on we will hopefully get a few back err Shaun Wright Phillips didnt play today we are hoping he might be ok for Thursday, Bridgey he is touch and go whether he will play obviously we will have to get players back just to give us the energy we need.

Jeff: Thank you Mark.

Mark: Alright no problem.

This is for anybody who didnt get to hear is soft touch speech on how the game went. I did the best I could writing each word its quite difficult to memorize :D thats why it took me a while writing it out.

What sort of question is that? Are you sure he didn't say below par?

the man cant excuse the woeful second half display.the defence didnt defend and they will probably all play on thursday.there is no leadership on or off the pitch

I just rewound it on Sky + and it sounds like Jeff says Power but he does actually say Par I think I cant fully understand that part to be honest lol.

It seemed to me that Mark Hughes was stuttering a little in some of is wording (I cant say he was speaking with like a Dutch accent) but he seems to do this everytime he is in an interview, He looked confident though and didnt seem like he had lost the plot.

He lost the plot when he brought Evans on.....again. Match winning substitution if ever I saw one.......

Good acting. He lost the plot 6 months ago.

Honestly the guy is a total cnut. I can't imagine there's a manager in english football who would be delivering such *shocking* performances with the players we have.

He shouldn't be sacked. He should be executed. I will honest to god leap for joy when he's gone.

Calm down lads, next season will be a different kettle of fish. Teams will be quaking in their boots in anticipation of meeting a Manchester City squad full of world class internationals.

If I wanted to be really cynical I could say he was using the excuse of injuries to cover up his obvious shortcomings as a manager in the hope it might get him another season out of ADUG, who knows maybe team selections are now dictated by Hughes vanity, lets face it he needs excuses now, no better excuse than the old players are all injured cliché.

Still it doesn’t explain why a back 4 with no injuries cant defend for toffee, and seem intent on committing the football equivalent of “Hari Kari “”

We have been getting progressively worse week in and week out

We can buy a back 4 in the summer. As i said, dont worry be happy. In fact we can buy a new team and loan this one out to Everton.
