We have 4-5 top4 squad players we need another 20 cost 400 mill if they are available it will take 4-5 years a top manager will reduce it to 2-3

Mark Hughes with Jeff Shreeves!

Jeff: Mark was City way below power today?

Mark: Well I think you saw, obviously the team, that we are missing key individuals and err that energy we need in the premierleague, Obviously Fulham had the advantage of having a clear week and err coming into the game we obviously felt the affects of the game in the midweek and when you have tired minds and sometimes when you have tired minds make mistakes in key areas in the field. So at obviously 1-0 we looked comfortable we then make an error and obviously once we go behind in the game too chase the game given our efforts on Thursday aswell it was always going to be difficult for us coz we always had to take a chance and push people forward but err disappointing theres reasons behind it we are missing alot of players err tried to introduce some freshness in the team like Kelvin/Petrov hmm the rest of Robinho just to hopefully give him a break from the football he had, And in the end we went behind in a game that was very difficult for us.

Jeff: One two people are still unhappy how concerned are you about the knock on effect for the match on Thursday?

Mark: Well err I think its hmm the game its the games we have to pick ourself up on we will hopefully get a few back err Shaun Wright Phillips didnt play today we are hoping he might be ok for Thursday, Bridgey he is touch and go whether he will play obviously we will have to get players back just to give us the energy we need.

Jeff: Thank you Mark.

Mark: Alright no problem.

This is for anybody who didnt get to hear is soft touch speech on how the game went. I did the best I could writing each word its quite difficult to memorize :D thats why it took me a while writing it out.

When I dielver my clever little tidbits of superb english from my 200 word vocabulary I sometimes find myself reading what I just wrote and go:

"Siiiigh... what a idiot I am..."

... you know, just cause all the nuances gets lost and you sound like Tarzan coming back from a six month holiday in Goa...

Well, yå knåw... obviously Hughes obviously doesn't have any of those obvious issues of self reflect.

was he shpeaking in a, how you say, dutch acshent by any chance?
Ah get Schteve von McClarren in! At least it will be funny. It will be written into his contract that he has to, how you say, give an interview in a different accent every week. Think of Mexican week! Or Uzbekistan week!

Instead of coming out to Pouding, City can come out to circus music!

Oh, and the umbrellas, won't somebody think of the umbrellas.

How can Hughes blame a lack of freshness when he made 5 changes to Thursday's team?

The rag is clutching at straws big time...

It's quite hard to read Hughes' expression at times but for the first time yesterday I felt the cameras showed a guy who "really" didn't know what to do next.

We play some great, open, attacking and risky football at times and have scored some cracking goals this season but also seem to lack any shape, discipline and awareness when moves breakdown. This is the complete opposite of last season's Blackburn Rovers who were more dogged and played the percentages.

The core of fans against MH is growing and probably not for turning unless we beat Hamburg. There would appear to be no argument, other than stability, for keeping Les at this moment in time. I am all for stability and for once I'd like us to look beyond the short-term quick fix to the long term.

Hi btw
