Their response was to say ' we haven't got any white ones either they're all yellow'

It’s nothing to do with the advert. It’s a photo posted on Instagram posted and retracted to give M&S the maximum advertising outreach for minimum effort.Something filmed about six months ago has got people riled up because of what’s happening now, honestly stop the world I want to get off

Except then they wouldnt reach the Outrage Porn merchants, and the vast exposure with that.
They knew what they were doing.
Not a fucking chance they failed to preempt the optics of that image, and the outcome. Completely harmless yet enough to make rolling headlines and endless discussions that come with it.

The criminal fact here is that there a Xmas adverts and it`s the first week of November. The "C" word shouldn`t be uttered until December has started.

One of those things where they’ve put the ad up, probably got about 10 complaints from unhinged people. Decided to err on the side of caution and take it down. And now everybody has gone fucking bananas.
Absolute nothing story. Just outrage merchants on all sides.

It is out of respect for the cost of living hardships, they say. M&S are releasing earlier this year, to allow budget-conscious shoppers to plan early.
