I think he would get a work permit on appeal. His case would be very similar to Chelsea's purchase of Kennedy last summer, except Moreno is now a Colombian regular, whereas Kennedy was never capped for Brazil. And with them being ranked 3rd in the world, that's pretty good for his case. Also our wage structure and the fee would probably give him enough points for an exception.

Samaras I'll give you. But Kolarov looks pretty much like he does now. His highlights from Lazio showcased him taking I'll advised shots from extreme angles, but scoring, taking free kicks and penalties. Nothing in those highlights showed an all round player. Just a player getting good results bfrom bad decisions.

There's a bit of misinterpretation here as he said a final decision will be made Friday... but then says the club will announce it on Friday.

So sounds like the decision is made and we'll know on Friday if he's signed for us or not.
