I can't quite understand all the negativity around the thought of signing Fellaini. Is it because he is not hyped up in the media? Because he is not a 20 year old playing in a foreign league of which people have hardly seen? Because he plays for Everton? It is probably a combination of all the above if you are honest with yourself as he is definitely not the skill-less clogger some of you are making him out to be.

On the plus side:
- Strong and powerful
- Good in the air
- Technically good on the ball
- Young
- Premier league proven (Although I hate the cliché)
- Both Defensive and Offensive capabilities

He would be a damn sight better signing than some of the names that get mentioned. In all honesty, I think he has a tonne of potential and Mancini would turn him into an absolute monster. A midfield of Yaya and Fellaini would scare the shit out of any team we came across.

I really don't mean to be so "six degrees of Kevin Bacon" about this but with SaggyCheeks out in tott, moyes is mentioned as the top guy to replace him (back when he was thought to go earlier as the nat. team mngr.) and again now. If that was to happen, would you think he'd secure Fellaini there with all the money at the spurs disposal (as we have), but also the relationship with moyes?

Haha, I put money on Moyes going to Spurs, at 1.5 to 1, as soon as Harry left. Moyes is about 20 to 1 now, I dont think that's likely to happen!

Is this thread based on info about us wanting the guy, or is it just the OP stating how he'd like Fellaini, and everyone else is just debating weather or not they rate him or not?

You should watch him against CIty. He often does.

If winning a few headers is 'bossing the game' then yes but Everton don't boss games v City, they mug us. Entirely different.

He bossed it at the swamp 4-4. They didn't have a clue how to handle him, playing off a striker (if everton have one?)

good point - there was the Jagielka remark that he thought Fellaini wouldn't stay at Everton next season tho'
