Bump.

Thought he had a very good game today. Almost the perfect cup final performance. Let the game flow, allowed tough tackles and was reticent to book players.
To nick a famous line from a movie; ''let's not start sucking each other's dicks just yet''. But I've seen worse performances from refs in our games this season. There were a couple of challenges on Merlin that should have been pulled up. 7.5/10

Generally good performance & I know there's no pleasing everyone, but Zabba got pulled up a few times for superb tackling that pissed me off big time.

Seemed to give us nothing, but at least he didn't do anything outrageous (there was the truly appalling offside decision that nearly led to them going 2-0 up and killing the game, but that's the lino, not Atkinson) Still not sure why Kolarov didn't get a penalty, clearly tripped

Gotta agree. Thought otherwise when he let Bardsley cart Silva in the first minute. But then he let tough tackles go both ways.
Good refereeing. Looked at players when they fouled as if to say well you KNOW what's that's for.

set the tone with Bardsley early doors but agree it was for the good of the game in the end

He also reffed the 1-0 win against the rags IIRC in the title winning season.

From somewhere he found 5 minutes of injury time, which was the exact same amount of time as we got against QPR even though the Barton sending off took three minutes on its own.
Marriner did the 1-0 in the title winning season,
Dean did the 3-2 vs QPR in the title winning season
