last four league game results , 5-0 , 2-0 , 1-0 , 0-0 , thats none conceded , (and we kept a clean sheet against chelski in the FA cup as well) , perhaps we shouldnt believe the media witch hunt against MDM , hes not world class , but he isnt the muppet some people are making him out to be.

One of the biggest issues in modern day football is how the media and the crap they spout take over the average football fans opinions. He's done okay, he's been bad in a few games and he isn't the perfect footballer, but he's no harm to have around and has had quite a few 7/10 games, IMO.

He's turned it around a bit recently so credit where it's deserved, keep it up lad please.

I still don't think him and Kompany work well as a partnership on the whole though.

Having said that, he seems to fit in along side VK alot better now.

Our defence has benefited from that extra man in midfield, I think Demichelis and Lescott are brilliant defenders and if we played a Chelsea style system they would keep a lot of clean sheets, but Pellegrini wants our defenders to pass the ball forward quickly and to allow the midfield and full backs to get forward. It means they have to be on the front foot and deal with situations 1on1 effectively. All season that is something they have often failed to do, Kompany has made mistakes as well. I still think we need to be a bit more balanced by using a midfielder to cover defensively... but hard to argue when most of our results have been positive.
