I was absolutely slated on this thread a few months back for calling MD "a poor mans Vincent Kompany" because of the way he reads the game, leads the line and runs out to make interceptions. Obviously no where near as good as Vinny, but glad Martin (eventually) proved me right

that is one of his greater attributes his reading of the game and calmness on the ball. I wouldnt mind if he starts with Vinny next year.

He has been playing a little better but he is a,disaster waiting to happen.....dives in and over commits himself time and time again.

Hopefullt we will get a top class centre half in the summer or nasty will return and carry on inproving

He would be an ok 4th choice back up but thats it

Not a fact...yet. He's in the provisional squad. Whether he'll make the final 23 remains to be seen. Hopefully he will.

I would have had Garcia and Dzeko out of the club in January(both proved me wrong,again)but I always defended MDM when things were going tits up at the start of the season as he never hid......shows hes a strong character which is what we have needed.

Good job also his English is poor so he didnt have to listen to wankers like Hansen.
