Yes, this type of game is made for him. Physical. He got the bit between his teeth and never let go. He probably enjoyed that game more than any other so far.

Played very well today, but most of his bad moments have come in games where he has been caught out in the open misjudging tackles, interceptions etc, not games like today.

Today we were more together in a line heading balls clear & blocking, & he did it very well.

Martin Demichelis was outstanding today. I lost count of good defensive headers when the pressure was on. Top drawer player, albeit aging a bit.
