He's not fucking wank. He's been a top class player all his career and at the moment he's playing as a stop gap for City. He's made a decision to challenge Messi and he's come unstuck, it could have been a free kick but it ended up as a penalty as wrong as it seems now and until the summer when we can address the issue of buying a top class CB, let's get behind our players for fuck sake and at the end of the day we were playing the best team in the world and its still half time in the round.

He was in tears leaving the field and that shows commitment and passion, he mistimed a challenge that only existed because Kompany was about 10 yards behind the defensive line. Kompany was entirely at fault in comparison but because he's our golden boy we'll criticise this new signing who isn't quick which instantly has made people see him as a liability no matter how he plays.

He's shite, I'd rather have a 35 year old Van Buyten (as would Bayern). Even at Norwich the other week, the three chances they had came from him sliding in and missing everything. Lescott showed in the minutes he played today that against Barca he'd have cost us more than Demichellis, he has no composure on the ball and would have given it away at will. Personally rate him slightly higher than Demichellis but today, there was no chance he could have started.

The penalty was not his fault? Are you on fucking crack? Did Kompany force him to dive in and hack down Messi? All defenders with a brain cell would have left Messi to take the shot and hope the keeper saves it. Going one down is not as bad as going one down and going down to 10 men.
