People crying about Demichellis need to grow the fuck up and get behind one of our players. He was in tears leaving the field and that shows commitment and passion, he mistimed a challenge that only existed because Kompany was about 10 yards behind the defensive line. Kompany was entirely at fault in comparison but because he's our golden boy we'll criticise this new signing who isn't quick which instantly has made people see him as a liability no matter how he plays.

the left side of our defence is an area we've neglected too long, no point buying likes of negredo, fernandinho and navas when at highest level your weaknesses find you out

I think it is a stretch to consider him as a centre half. I think he has literally been brought in as a stop gap and to his credit he is giving it a go and putting in some decent performances, but he is just not good enough for this level anymore.

Agree with that he was brought in to be Kolo's replacement and doubt MDM expected to play this many games.
