Maybe he’s not rapid, but neither is Kane, and he’s pretty effective. What I think Mount has also, is footballing intelligence, the ability to play up to/ well with better players, to implement the manager’s tactics, and to provide a goal threat. Some similarities with Lampard as well as Kane in that sense, ie maxing out on what he has as a player.
He’s not No1 on my list, but I wouldn’t be unhappy at all if he signed to play for Pep.

I can only think what Pep might do with this player, he had a lot of promise and seems to have lost his way a little, is that because he thinks he has made it? Maybe all the shite at Chelsea and different managers and their roles for him have let him down, Pep teaching him to be Gundy's replacement is not a bad thought.

Though I wouldn't be handing him 350k a week for that role
