Massive dilemma.

There's is absolutely no way the poster will not find out the score before watching that recorded game. Only one option and that is to watch the game live

Did it for the Cup final the other week.

Do a charity event or watch the match?

I recorded the game and did the charity event.

I'd have sold the gig tickets, although I'm a Pink Floyd fan, not so much Roger Waters so that's easy for me.

Plus I can't think of a gig that my wife would insist I went to with her. She'd rather I didn't go if I was going to be edgy and not up for it.

Who's the Waters fan? You, her or both?

Me. She prefers Syd

Ok... Here goes.

I have tickets for Roger Waters tomorrow at MEN (still that, as far as I'm concerned) but you obviously know what my problem is.

So..? What would you do?

Don't know :( I got offered a ticket for Aphex Twin on Saturday, due on stage at 10:30. Problem is I don't know any good bars near the gig to watch the game.

What sort of idiot books Aphex Twin on the same evening as CL Final. I despair sometimes.

In all respect to the FA Cup and it's long and illustrious history in the modern era the Champions League is a clear step up in quality and prestige.

These heady days were beyond our wildest dreams not long ago and with how fickle professional sport is you never know when the bubble might burst and the chance of reaching another Champions League final is decades away.

It's simply not worth the risk to miss it and find out the result in the lobby on the way back to the car after the concert.

It's a cliché to say so but apart from absolutely extraordinary circumstances it's a simply unmissable match.

If it were between seeing the game live and the concert i'd take the game. Watching on tv vs concert, definitely the concert
